Olympia Historical Society 2024 Home Tour Comes to the South Capitol Neighborhood

The Olympia Historical Society & Bigelow House Museum (OHS & BHM) invites you to enjoy the 2024 Holiday Tour of Historic Homes on Sunday December 8 from noon to 4:00 pm. This year the tour showcases five homes in the South Capitol Neighborhood Historic District. In addition, those with a tour ticket will gain free admission to the Bigelow House Museum in the Bigelow Neighborhood. Here you will enjoy touring the museum decorated for the season as well as hear music on the Steinway grand piano and indulge in refreshments.

Tour tickets are $35 and support the historical society’s programs and events as well as our ongoing work to preserve the Bigelow House.

Tickets are now being sold at three locations around town: Childhood’s End Gallery, Drees of Olympia both in downtown and Thompson’s Furniture in Tumwater.

Tickets will also be sold on the day of the tour at the Coach House behind the Lord Mansion as well as at the Bigelow House.

Once you purchase your ticket you will have a map and location of all six houses on this year’s home tour. Also, on the back cover is a QR code that links to the OHS & BHM webpage that has more information about the history and architecture of the homes plus detailed information to help you plan ahead to make your experience as enjoyable and informative as possible.

We also thank our generous sponsors whose support makes this event possible. A big “thank you” goes to the five homeowners who have enthusiastically opened their homes for your enjoyment and have also preserved the history and historic architecture of their homes.

We look forward to seeing you on December 8th.
