The South Capitol Neighborhood Association is looking for volunteers to help plan this year’s Fall Picnic Social!
If you’d like to get involved, please join us for our first planning committee meeting on Tues, June 30th, 6:30–7:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Elementary Library. Please enter through the double doors on Washington Street.
This year’s picnic committee will be chaired by Gerry Apple and Morgan Montes, and we welcome neighbors who would like to contribute ideas, help organize activities, or assist with event logistics.
Our initial meeting agenda includes:
- Quick introductions
- Brainstorming exhibitors and community organizations to invite
- Reviewing and assigning volunteer roles
- Selecting future committee meeting dates for July and August
The Fall Picnic Social is a great opportunity to bring neighbors together and celebrate our community. It will occur on Sun, Sept 13th this year. Whether you can volunteer throughout the planning process or simply want to learn more, we’d love to see you there.
