It’s mid-August and summer seems to be flying by. And that means it’s almost time for our fourth annual neighborhood picnic, which is shaping up to be another fun event! Invitations should be arriving soon via snail mail.

South Capitol Neighborhood BBQ Picnic
Sunday, Sept 13th, 2 – 5 pm
Lincoln Elementary School Playshed
The event is free and all residents in the South Capitol neighborhood are welcome! So, please bring family and friends for an afternoon of fun, celebrating the end of a wonderful summer and a chance to get to know your neighbors better!
We’ll be grilling hot dogs, hamburgers and veggie burgers – and there’ll be outdoor activities for the kids. If you can, please bring along a side dish or snacks to share.
A number of organizations will also be on hand to share information, and we’ll be doing a drawing for a $100 gift card to Vic’s Pizzeria. Must be present to win!
