Just a reminder that our fourth annual neighborhood picnic will be tomorrow – Sun, Sept 13th from 2 – 5 pm at the Lincoln Elementary School Playshed. Please bring friends and family for an afternoon of fun.
There’ll be music, lots of good food, and outdoor activities for the kids. If you can, please bring a side dish to share.
When you arrive, please stop by our membership table to pick up a ticket for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate from Vic’s Pizzeria. You can also become a member of the neighborhood association (it’s free), and we’ll be accepting voluntary dues, which help cover the cost of our website, post office box, and Google suite (for document storage).
We’ll also have a number of exhibitors providing information about a variety of things. They will be representing the: South Cap Community Coalition, a local chess club, Thurston Immigrant Solidarity League, Evergreen Resistance, Olympia Police and Fire Departments, City of Olympia Climate Action Team, Thurston Conservation District, and Library Yes!
